Top 3 Reasons
You Need StuHealth

  1. Save Money - StuHealth offers much better coverage than Parent or School policies for 1/3 to 1/2 the price.
  2. Get Better Coverage - StuHealth features a $1 million benefit policy covering every U.S. doctor or hospital. Parent or School policies offer lower benefits and are only accepted by local doctors.
  3. Take It With You - StuHealth coverage is renewable, even after graduation, until age 65. Parent and School coverage ends when you are no longer a full-time student.

Waive Your School Coverage

If your School requires you to purchase the school policy, or automatically adds the cost to your tuition statement:

Step One: Contact your school Controller or Registrar for a health insurance waiver form. You can usually find this form online.

Step Two: Submit the waiver form with the Certificate of Coverage provided with your StuHealth health insurance or other (i.e. parent policy) coverage.

Step Three: Check your tuition statement carefully to make sure your waiver has been processed and you have not been charged for the school health insurance policy.
